Wednesday 11 September nationwide strike: no trains until 8am

Unions have announced a nationwide strike in public transport for Wednesday 11 September from 04:00 to 08:00 in the morning.

No trains will run between 4:00am and at least 8:00am. Only Sprinters will run between Amsterdam Centraal and Schiphol Airport.

From 08:00 the train operators will restart the timetable. This does not mean that from 08:00 all trains will run again. It is expected that NS will be able to fully resume the normal timetable later in the morning.
